Every idea you hold dear to you, or that makes you live the way you do, can either help you or hurt you.
It is important, if one wants to live well to believe in, and hold ideas that are good for them, that help them, and provide them a better life experience.
If one holds ideas that lead them closer to the spectrum of death, they should expunge, clean, themselves of those ideas, or seek better answers, that give them a clear view of who they want to be.
Ideas can either hold you back, or push you ahead in this world. Those people that are down in the dumps, and are really feeling it, are not just so because of their bad ideas, but because of their past ideas. Those ideas, and the experiences of the past, should be seen as "transforming experiences" with "transforming ideas."
One becomes something by gaining a title. A man who fights in war, may think himself, and be called a hero. Often a man who drops out of school, will think himself little, or feel cynical about life. In this way we are truly what we do.
When one is down, ideas that bring one down should not be held onto for long. Resilience is key. Ideas have value in relation to how much they help or harm us, just as their outplay into behaviors.
